Homeschool books!

We were so excited to see the books when they arrived.  I wanted to jump up and down.  My kids were like whatever.  A new and wonderful change in our lives!

Homeschooling!

We have been homeschooling for two months and it is wonderful!  What a gift from God!  I am loving every moment of it.  What a change in my children and how awesome! They are learning about The Bible and the Catechism.  My kids are more united.  what else can I say, I love having them 24 hr a day in my house.  I feel that this is the way that God wants us to be.  I am so thankful to God!

FIRST WEEK OF SUMMER VACATION

Well this is our first week of summer vacation and having more fun than other summers.  This year I am actually having activities most of the days.  We are having a little taste of homeschooling.  I enrolled the kids to Seton and we are all happy and can't wait to start.  We are looking forward for this new adventure in our lives.  I thank God for calling me to do this with my children,  It is truly a blessing.  I could already see the change in our kids.  We haven't started yet, but just by knowing that everything is different now, I can see the difference between them and the way they are looking at things specially at our faith.

Confirmation!

My Oldest son did his Confirmation!  We were excited!  But like always I didn't get to enjoy the Mass because the little ones were very fussy.  But overall I was so happy that my son got to do his Confirmation.  May God always help him in his life to always have Jesus in the center of his life.  I am thankful to God for my Son.

Emotional First Communion

Today we celebrated my son's first communion!  I was so happy and stressed getting the kids ready for Mass.  But when it all came down to the celebration of the Holy Eucharist I just got so emotional.  I am so thankful that the Lord gives me these beautiful children to take care and enjoy!  My son was anxious to go to Mass and take Holy Communion for the first time.  It makes me so happy to know that he loves the Lord.  We just had a wonderful time!

Picnic at the Park!

Today we went on a picnic and we had so much fun.

Asking for prayer!

I want to ask prayers for our family.  My son who is in Jr. High School wants to stay one more year in public school.  My husband wants him to stay for a year too since he has good grades and he loves to be in Band.  But I feel that God wants him to start homeschooling.  Me and my husband are having trouble agreeing.  Thank you!

Excited to start homeschooling!

I am so thankful to God for giving us our children.  Each one of them are wonderful and unique in their own way.  They each have their own personality and it is just wonderful.  God has put in me and my husband's heart to home school our children.  We are hopefully going to start this coming year.  I am praying to God to please help me and my husband do his will,we are so excited! God has entrusted our children to my husband and me, we feel that this is the best way to educate our children.  Please pray for our family.  If you have any pointers on homeschooling please leave a comment! Had an awesome day!

I just have to share about my day today.  It was awesome, I got to spend time with my mom and nephew.  We went to Los Angeles Religious Education Congress.  We didn't go to the Congress but we did go to the take a look at the exhibitors.  We have been going every year and get big discounts in bibles, books and a whole bunch of things.  While we were there we got to see Jacky Francois, Adrian Angrisano, and Curtis Stephan.  I didn't expect to see them.  It was an awesome day!  We Also got to see some Spanish speaking Priest wich my mom was so happy to get to meet them.

Had a nice time at the Zoo!  We had good weather here in Southern California.  No more sweaters for us!!! Three of the kids got their face painted, I totally forgot to take pictures.  Please be patient with me while I get the hang of blogging.
